WPC conducts both mounted and dismounted lessons on a consistent schedule at Kiely Equestrian Center, located at 3375 Tripp Road, Woodside. In the event of inclement weather, dismounted lessons may occasionally be held at an alternative site to ensure program continuity.
WPC HORSE MANAGEMENT DISMOUNTED PROGRAM
Jennifer Arntsen, a WPC alum and USPC HA-rated instructor, leads our weekly dismounted Horse Management (add link to WPC HM resource page) classes, a core part of the USPC program that distinguishes WPC from many other equestrian groups. Members learn safe and comprehensive horse care beyond riding to become responsible equestrians. These group lessons are subsidized by WPC and provided at no extra charge to WPC members for basic, group horse management lessons.

WPC offers a range of mounted lesson options with various instructor types and costs. Instructors provide flexible formats, including private and group lessons in half or full hour time slots.
Our instructors are dedicated, adaptable, and committed to supporting members’ learning needs for an effective lesson experience. Their expertise is essential in helping members achieve their goals and develop as skilled equestrians. WPC is very fortunate to offer these instructors.

Regularly Scheduled Lesson Price Range:
- Private 1 hour: $50-$75
- Semi-private/group 1 hour: $37.50 – $50.
- Half hour private: $37.50 – $70.
- Half hour group/semiprivate: Not generally offered.
